Find a place to belong and a place to serve


The church comprises Purpose Groups (see below) which include Life Groups, practical helps, Sunday teams and Connect Ministries, all of which need people to make it all happen.

For information on how to be involved in any of the Purpose Groups, please contact the Church office.

Life Groups:

We currently have 10 groups available, which meet on different days of the week. Some groups are mixed gender and some are single gender groups so our hope is that there will be a place for everyone. Single people are, of course, welcome to join mixed groups and couples can choose to attend different groups. There is a leaflet giving more details about the groups and their leaders available from the Information Desk on a Sunday morning.

We know from experience that groups work best when people ‘connect’, so where possible we put people in the group of their choosing. It usually takes time to settle into a group, but if after a couple of months you would like to try a different group, it will be possible to change - just contact the office. Group Leaders are aware that this will happen from time to time and will not take offence!

To join a Life Group

If you would like to join a Life Group, please e-mail the office with the following information:

Name, phone number and address: (if not in the church directory)

What kind of group you would like to meet in, eg: Ladies / Men’s / Mixed Group

What day(s) of the week you are able to attend a group on: Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs / Fri

Your preferred group leaders, (we know from experience that groups have an optimum size and therefore wish to ensure that no groups are too large. For this reason we may not be able to give you your first choice of group so it would be helpful to have 3 choices) and any other relevant information which you think will help us find the right group for you.
