What does the Bible say about giving?
It says a lot! As an introduction, you can download a free article here called "The Grace of Giving". It should open up to read on your computer or other device, or you can print it to read later.
The Bible's teaching on giving is a challenge, particularly for those to whom it's new. There's a faith dimension to it, a need to step out in faith. God invites us to test His faithfulness in this. In fact, the matter of giving is the only place in the whole Bible where God invites us to test Him.
In the meantime, here are answers to some common questions on tithes and offerings, and the practicalities of giving.
